My collection explores the experience of growing up between dual British and Australian heritage, drawing on two distinct narratives that reflect different moments and environments within that upbringing. Rather than presenting these stories directly, my work focuses on the visual language surrounding them, particularly through familiar snack and food imagery associated with these everyday experiences.

These elements are reimagined and elevated into a more fashion-led context, transforming recognisable forms into refined textile outcomes. My collection is both illustrative and hand-embellished, combining drawn motifs with detailed surface techniques to create pieces that feel expressive yet considered.

Alongside this, there is a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and longevity. Techniques such as hand embellishment, embroidery and surface design have been intentionally chosen to reflect the value of time, skill and making, reintroducing a sense of care and permanence into the work. This approach connects the personal nature of the concept with a wider focus on preserving traditional craft within a contemporary setting.

My final collection is positioned within the luxury fashion market, balancing playful visual references with a refined, high-end aesthetic to create work that feels distinctive, detailed and design-led.
