Craftsmanship
Hand beading is the primary technique within the collection, used to build direction and guide the eye across the design. The placement of each bead is carefully considered, allowing the surface to tell a visual story. Glass beads are used to create a refined, high-quality finish, reinforcing the luxury positioning of my work. The process is time-intensive, with each piece requiring hours of hand application, emphasising craftsmanship and longevity.
I’ve used hand embroidery to directly translate my illustrated designs onto fabric, maintaining precision and control over each line and form.
A single thread is used to create fine, detailed line work, allowing for a more delicate and refined finish.
Small beads are added selectively to enhance detail, adding subtle texture without overpowering the design.
