Digital Prints
A series of repeat digital prints developed from hand-painted motifs, bringing the two narratives together visually through pattern and composition.
Hand-painted motifs were digitally composed into a repeat pattern and digitally printed onto butterfly smooth crepe. Seed beads were added to the wings of each fairy.
Subtle hand embellishment are then added using a variaty of glass beads, introducing texture while maintaining the clarity of the print.
Digitally printed onto a lusturious seduction poly satin. I then hand beaded into it using glass short bugle beads and couching on bullion thread.
This print was developed from my silk scarf design, inspired by the chaos of breakfast before school. Hand-embellished detailing.
